Busy summer season nears an end

The band has had a busy summer season playing at various fetes over the last few months.  They have performed at St. Philomena's School Fete in Frinton, Birch Primary School Fete and St. Leonard's Church Fete in Lexden, Colchester as well as hosting their own summer concert which took place in the Co-op Chapel on Wimpole Road, Colchester on 16th July.  The summer concert was very well supported and the band played fantastically well.  The annual awards were also presented at this concert and congratulations must go to:  Steve (Player of the Year), Lizzie (Best Attendance & Bandsman of the Year) and Maria (Most Improved Player).  Hannah was also presented with the Star Player certificate for the summer term 2017.  The band has one event left this summer which is the workshop on 31st July 2017 (please see the events section for more details).

The autumn term will soon be here when the band will be busy preparing for their remaining concerts in 2017 and looking ahead to the Christmas season!
